Satin Nickel is a folk/rock band based in NYC.  Morgan and fellow UC Irvine alum Samantha Aneson found a natural collaboration, both sharing a fondness for folk/Americana music.  Combining Morgan’s aggressive approach to the Americana narrative with Samantha’s sentimental and introspective approach to folk music, they found their contrasting styles complemented each other, forming a powerful dichotomy.  Smooth as satin, hard as nickel. Aggressive and sensitive. Progressive and reflective.  Together, they founded Satin Nickel, along with drummer Nikola Balac, bassist Andrew Shewaga, and cellist Ariana Karp.  They released a self-titled EP in 2018, and in April 2020 they released their first full-length album, Shadow of Doubt.  Find more at  www.satinnickelmusic.com
